Matt Turner is the Global Head of News at Green Street, leading a team of 80 journalists across North America, Europe, and Asia to deliver the intelligence that helps subscribers stay ahead.
A media executive with more than 15 years of experience building and scaling global newsrooms, Matt is known for combining editorial ambition with business results. At Business Insider, he oversaw a newsroom of more than 150 journalists across three continents as Deputy Editor-in-Chief. He led the launch and growth of Business Insider’s subscription business and guided the newsroom to major journalism awards. A recognized voice in business journalism, Matt has moderated panels at the World Economic Forum and the Milken Conference.
Before joining Green Street, Matt was a founding team member of upNEXT, an intelligence and community platform serving global policy, business, and startup leaders, where he served as Chief Content Officer.
He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Magazine Journalism from City University London and a BA (Hons) in English Literature from Royal Holloway University of London.
